For the first time, Sweden has ordered strike drones for its armed forces, awarding the contract to the Danish company Nordic Wing. The Astero ISR reconnaissance drone and Raptor 2 strike drone will operate together via shared software.
German defense tech company STARK has delivered the first Seetaube unmanned surface vessel to the German armed forces for testing. Built on the Vanta platform, it is designed for reconnaissance and other maritime missions.

The EU has approved a plan to deploy a satellite constellation costing more than €15.6 billion. The plan includes 348 satellites, with an initial first launch expected in 2029. Spanish company HispaSat will be the main contractor for the system’s ground segment.
