GridHawk is a drone solution that would enable power lines to serve as a global charging network. This would solve the problem of limited drone operation caused by recharging. The system was presented at Kyiv Defense Tech Week at the Kyiv School of Economics pitch session.
This system will enable operations deep behind enemy lines for an unlimited duration and continuous reconnaissance along the border with Belarus. The cost of a prototype ranges from $5,000 to $7,500.
“We are currently seeking investment capital to complete the R&D phase and develop a pre-production prototype for military testing. We are also interested in collaborating with combat units willing to test the system in real combat conditions, as well as with UAV manufacturers to integrate GridHawk as an add-on module,” said Artem Samokhin, software developer of the technology.
