A streamlined process for greenlighting defense exports should take just 30 days, down from 90.
The new regulations also clarify responsibilities of the MoD, HUR, Interagency Commission, and other Ministries. If they do not respond within 20 calendar days, it will be deemed consent.
Nearly two months since the resolution was adopted, however, it has caused little change to business activity while adding a whopping 20-30% in administrative fee costs, which should be paid along with the export application, according to the SSEC.
