In July, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution 875, aimed at simplifying the process of obtaining export permits. But no permits have yet been issued under the framework, with industry representatives complaining the rules remain too unclear to use in practice. Producers must therefore continue using the standard procedure, which can take up to 90 days.
New mil-tech initiative Army of Robots aims to bring together robotics companies and engineers to create AI-powered systems that can replace people on the battlefield, former defense minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced over the weekend. Yurii Sak, a former advisor, said the initiative would require strong state support to succeed. However, Fedorov's dismissal from government has weakened his state ties.
